Fluttery Records was formed in June 2008 and focuses on the fact that it is multi-culture and a worldwide record company. The type of music it releases is post-rock, indie-crossover, experimental, electronic, ambient, and modern classical music.

What strikes the most interesting is the fact of classical music for the modern times, and it’s possible not just the thought of past masters centuries gone-by.

The United Nations of Fluttery Records is the artistes page and has a roster of twenty artistes and bands.

Ambient & Electronic acts are: Tokyo based Dutchman going by the name of Gate,  French duo Krapp gives splashes from their cauldron, Open Work Stocking from Russia likes to use more analogue sounds to create the ambience, and Yawning is Japanese musician Jun Minowa. Indie-Crossover acts are: Phoenix and the Turtle from California, Tamed Animals is a project by Dan Barnett and involves electronic elements in his music, Marionette ID Hungarian indie stompers, The Widest Smiling Faces is a project by New Yorker Aviv, and Draff Krimmy is an indie/acoustic collaboration by two Germans and a Norman. Progressive Rock acts are: En Plein Air, Ana Never from Serbia, Mooncake from Moscow,The Seven Mile Journey from North Denmark, Freedom Voyagers from the coldest part of Russia, Siberia, Double Handsome Dragons homegrown from Portsmouth, UK are a semi-instrumental group putting film-clip vocals and other interesting sound-effects within there music, Kimika are a Canadian rock group, Sleepstream a Greek band having time to evolve releasing there debut album next month. Modern Classic Instrumental acts are: A Journey Down The Well, Music For No Films is a project by Federico Fantuz and produces instrumental ambient music

that lets the listener reflect on their life, Diamond Gloss is a project by Portuguese Gonçalo Pereira also offers ambient music as well.

The mixture of music and where there artistes and bands are from, really give you the sense that this record label wants to release and promote music!

This year has been Fluttery Records busiest with the modest amount of releases, and by all means it doesn’t stop their. They have a good distribution network both in hardcopy CD’s and digital downloads of there artistes and bands.
